GONG representative in Parliamentary Election Monitoring Mission in Lebanon
GONG representative Dragan Zelić will take a part in NDI (National Democratic Insitute) international election observation delegation for the Parliamentary election in Lebanon on 7 June 2009 .
Delegation members will participate in briefings with political parties, government officials, civil society organizations, election authorities and journalists, as well as observe balloting and vote counting on Election Day.
Initiative is a power granted to voters in some states and local governments to introduce a matter before the governing body or to place it directly before the voters for their approval, without consideration by the appropriate legislative body (www.arlingtonva.us)
